James Edward Childs

   Jim led a life actively involved in the lives of his family. He enjoyed dancing with Phyllis, coffee and projects with Maxine, hunting and fishing with Rob and family, riding his Harley and traveling on family vacations. Jim's grandson Dan plus his many nephews and nieces held a special spot in his heart.

Jim enjoyed many sports. During his youth Jim was a Golden Gloves boxer. Jim coached and played hockey, enjoyed auto racing, earned a black belt in karate, fished locations from Canada to the Amazon plus hunting trips ranging from Newfoundland moose to Louisiana alligators. 

Jim had a passion for working with his hands and operating machinery. He especially enjoyed projects with family. Today his family has lasting memories of his passions as they look out upon the beautiful landscape of their yards and enjoy the warm security of the homes he helped them build.
