Research Notes:
A stationary steam engineer
for 30 years. He drove the pilings for the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge.
His father willed a blacksmith shop to him but he would not return to
England. He had previously been an Atlantic Sailor; came to Canada by
ship, naturalized in Buffalo, N.Y. Oct. 26, 1896; moved to Duluth ca. 1901
