Rebekah Lorrayne (Broman) Towers, 52, of Duluth, passed away on Oct. 11, 2010.
Becky was born in Duluth on Sept. 6, 1958, to Jack and Marian (Quandee) Broman. She grew up and attended schools in Duluth, graduating from East High School in 1976. She was united in marriage to Mark Allen Towers at First Covenant Church on Oct. 11, 1980. Becky worked as a Health Unit Coordinator for St. Mary’s Medical Center for over 30 years.
She enjoyed fishing and camping at Shallow Lake, traveling throughout the United States and Europe as well as watching birds, especially cardinals. Becky loved her dogs, Lucy, Dakota and Oliver, and most importantly her friends and family. She will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark; maternal and paternal grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
Becky is survived by daughters Amanda “Mandi” (Jay Sell) Towers and Bridget (Tony) Rautio, both of Duluth; parents Marian (Jack) Broman of Duluth; siblings Fred (May) Broman of Duluth, Paul Broman of Duluth, Pam Broman of Iowa, and Dan (Asa) Broman of Sweden; mother and father-in-law Margaret (Earl) Edberg of Fredenberg, Minn.; brothers-in-law Jim (Becky) Towers of Carpentersville, Ill., and Allen (Toni) Edberg of Fredenberg; sisters-in-law Dawn (Gene) Palm of Aurora, and Jody (Bill) Grulke of Waunkee, Wis.; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
